From Family Challenge to Cultural Solution
It started with a father's determination to help his son learn to read. Richard Chance taught himself to code and created an app that not only helped his son but thousands of children worldwide. This entrepreneurial spirit led Richard and Jennifer to found Green Country Media in 2017, specializing in mobile app development.
But their biggest breakthrough came when they witnessed their daughters, Tehya and Aiyana, being repeatedly ripped off selling their artwork online. As Cherokee citizens, Richard and Jennifer saw this wasn't just a family problem—it was a crisis affecting Native artists everywhere.
